Your workshop: I think the legacy code was not very useful in overall. We did two sessions, one in the morning and another short one in the afternoon. The first one was ok, but I have to say the people did not collaborate much, they did not have the correct mood/energy. The second session was even worst (lower energy/mood) and we indeed found problems with our code but I did not see any hand-on solutions, only suggestions.

Better prepared: Much better

How to improve: I think the instructor should "read" the room and try to lift the energy/mood of the people, so more people can collaborate and work together rather than being unprofessional and talk about politics or whatever. To be fair this should be done by the people organizing the workshop but this did not happen in our situation and the trainer will be the one blamed for it!
