Course:
TDD for C++
Date entered:

Course rating:
Excellent
Most useful learnings:
to have patience, diligence when putting our legacy c code into the test harness.
Concepts v exercises:
Good balance
Presentation v discussion:
Good balance
Course improvements:
Maybe going over the kinds of errors/bugs/etc. that unit testing/TDD will not help with. So we can prepare for, or at least won't be so surprised by, any gotchas along the way.
Exercise rating:
Very Good
Exercise improvements:
They were pretty good. The last one was maybe a little too much embedded (bitmasking) for me but it was fine.
Instructor comments:
professional and engaging
Better prepared:
Much better
Start tomorrow:
Yes, because small steps.
Challenges to applying:
I have got the concepts down, i think, but to apply them to our legacy code is going to take practice. The temptation to skip the first failing test is still strong.
Other comments:
You did a great job despite a rough start and I appreciated that we still got to get something out of it.
