  • Date entered: 2016-09-15 22:12:17 UTC
  • Course rating: Excellent
  • Most useful learnings: CppUTest. Fakes and Spies. fff framework. Defining TDD tests by selecting "Fastest Path" through function under test. Create next test and repeat until all paths are covered.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: Spend a couple more hours on mocking hardware.
  • Exercise rating: Excellent
  • Exercise improvements: Add more HW mocking.
  • Instructor comments: Clear in communications, fun to listen to. Inspiring. Good pragmatic software craftsman.
  • Better prepared: Bring it on!
  • Start tomorrow: Yep!
  • Challenges to applying: Unfortunately I'm not exposed to 'C' in the mob, but I will certainly use this in my Raspberry Pi projects ;)
  • Other comments: Would prefer all attendees were well prepared with code examples to put under test - we spent too much time finding code or reviewing code...
  • Legacy code workshop: Yes
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: Yes
