• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2015-09-18 10:49:05 UTC
  • Course rating: Very Good
  • Most useful learnings: Some of the rules and guidelines for successful refactoring. If I hadn't worked with a Unit Test Framework before, it would have undoubtedly been exposure to that.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Too much discussion
  • Course improvements: Whilst the discussion was good for keeping engagement of the listener, I felt that sometimes we restated things a little too much - I recognise this is subjective though, but for my needs I think we could have spent more time exploring new ground...
  • Exercise rating: Excellent
  • Exercise improvements:
  • Instructor comments:
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: Yes - I am inclined to use TDD extensively in refactorings I wish to make to the codebase.
  • Challenges to applying: Getting time to pursue quality improvement, away from the demands of crisis management
  • Other comments:
  • Legacy code workshop: Yes
  • Recommend to others: Yes
