• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2015-02-06 13:21:12 UTC
  • Course rating: Excellent
  • Most useful learnings: Learning how TDD can be used in areas close to hardware, using mocks and substitutes.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: I wished I was pointed to the provided material prior to the course, so I could have some preparation (e.g. about using linker to substitute and mocking methods).
  • Exercise rating: Excellent
  • Exercise improvements: For the given time available, I can't see any change that could (certainly) improve the exercises.
  • Instructor comments: The concepts where described clearly and in a easy to understand way. The instructor looked at the problem through the trainee's glasses, which was very useful.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: Yes, surely, the sooner we start, the better, while the concepts are fresh in mind.
  • Challenges to applying: Challenges related to legacy code and that as, a new starter, I will be slow.
  • Other comments:
  • Legacy code workshop: Yes
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: Yes
