  • Course rating: Excellent
  • Most useful learnings: I got actual hands-on experience on Cpputest starting from a simple, guided example down to a more complex one.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance

  • Exercise rating: Very Good

  • Instructor comments: I think the instructor caught us pretty quick when we were stuck and gave some pointers in how to continue. I liked that he didn't tell us errors directly but rather led us down a wrong way knowing it will lead to an error later on.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: Regarding knowledge: I think so. Regarding day to day use: Let's see.
  • Challenges to applying: Regarding actual use in my day to day work: I can use it for MY day to day work, but I doubt it might be applicable in the overall system as the use of TDD seems like a huge paradigm shift.
  • Other comments: I liked the way the instructor kept it funny, e.g. the WTFs/minute metric or the DOH Simpson's reference.
  • Legacy code workshop: No
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: No
