• Course: TDD for Embedded C/C++
  • Date entered: 2023-01-20 14:44:23 UTC
  • Course rating: Excellent
  • Most useful learnings: How to mock the hardware and build the code completely off the target.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: If it is not already possible, it would be great to have the live recording of the three lessons, at least the parts related to live explanations and live demo exercises (e.g: Legacy code setup) in order to review some details that I can have missed.
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements: I don't think excercises need to be improved, I believe they are a good start point to practice with tdd.
  • Instructor comments: Very nice person, with great experience on programming. He gave us many advices and suggestions and he was able to keep us focused on the lessons all the time.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: Yes, I think so, because I have much more information and references to set up a test environment and start to work with tdd.
  • Challenges to applying: These ideas are already applied for software, our goal is to apply also for firmware projects.
  • Other comments:
  • Legacy code workshop: No
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: Yes
