• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2022-11-25 13:34:47 UTC
  • Course rating: Very Good
  • Most useful learnings: TDD was new to me, so good learning there. Also some good ideas about C/C++ linking and namespaces
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: Our group was new to the concept/method, so some overview followed by deep dive into concepts and exercises would have helped. Not sure in what order it has to be delivered but at times felt a little disconnected. But it may be only me. I don't have the correct answer to this. Also to be fair to James, it was a lot to digest in short period
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements: they were good.
  • Instructor comments: Good Job!! This is a difficult topic. As it makes me change the way I write software. I need to unlearn and relearn how to go about the overall development process. Maybe that's the way it has to be. Every individual has to go through that learning curve. On a lighter note - Less Pune traffic jokes :)
  • Better prepared: Moderately
  • Start tomorrow: I would definitely try to imbibe this in my day-to-day work. If I don't change it today, will not do it ever.
  • Challenges to applying: Project timelines
  • Other comments: Minimum 5 days are required
  • Legacy code workshop: Yes
  • Recommend to others: Yes
