• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2021-11-05 07:38:56 UTC
  • Course rating: Excellent
  • Most useful learnings: How design fits into the TDD process
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Too much discussion
  • Course improvements: I would have removed the Legacy Code section. This is a separate course in itself. Then we could have had one more hour on another TDD specific topic for which there are plenty in your videos
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements: Split them into 30 minutes slots with a discussion in the Tiki Bar
  • Instructor comments: Level of knowledge is exceptional on the topic For European audiences you take to long to get to the point. For example when addressing the parking lot items sometimes we lost the plot. Good to bring in your considerable experience to explain an issue with an past concrete example but keep to the point and ensure the question has been answered.
  • Better prepared: Bring it on!
  • Start tomorrow: Monday for sure :-) We have some limitations with our dev environment which we need to work on.
  • Challenges to applying: We are a medical device company so we must comply with strict methods of developing and testing SW. We will need to adapt our processes to allow the use of TDD as prescribed in your course. But we are prepared to do this to get the advantages
  • Other comments: The remote delivery was excellent. First time using this approach and was very impressed how you could efficiently manage such a huge team remotely. Really impressive.
  • Legacy code workshop: No
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: Yes
