• Course: TDD for Embedded C++
  • Date entered: 2021-05-06 09:49:00 UTC
  • Course rating: Very Good
  • Most useful learnings: There is no shortcut to success. Development without testing is faster, but it just a matter where you spend the time. With TDD in testing, without in painful debugging. And the tests will aid you in further changes as well.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: It's a matter of time. I think you did the best you could within these 3 days of training.
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements: I think most problems I had were not based on the quality of the exercises, but on my ability to adept the tdd way of thinking.
  • Instructor comments: I liked that he addressed the problems of each individual person so that they did not get left behind.
  • Better prepared: Bring it on!
  • Start tomorrow: Should be, yes. I think I am capable of doing tdd right now, and the additional workshop helped alot. But I think we all have to find away do adapt the concept to our everyday work.
  • Challenges to applying: I think it's the same for everyone: time vs. ideal execution / implementation
  • Other comments: Exhausting but really worth it!
  • Legacy code workshop: Yes
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: No
