• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2020-01-30 13:56:01 UTC
  • Course rating: Very Good
  • Most useful learnings: The new thinking approach we have to take in order to do TDD. Up until now we used to create and implement the functionality, and then, perform unit test. Now I see that we have to take the new approach we saw at class.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: Maybe have a docker or VM with the tools installed as plan B for what happened the last day.
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements: I will add more examples on mocking, or one mixing mocking + something else.
  • Instructor comments:
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: Yes. I think I got the concepts. Maybe we need to prepare/adapt the framework to our current working tools, but we will start on it
  • Challenges to applying: I believe the challenge is on making managers see the benefits on these so that they can be patient at the beginning.
  • Other comments:
  • Legacy code workshop: Yes
  • Recommend to others: Yes
