• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2020-01-29 14:59:14 UTC
  • Course rating: Good
  • Most useful learnings: The procedure must be followed to apply the TDD methodology. I am pretty sure using TDD would reduce bugs.
  • Concepts v exercises: Not enough exercises
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: It would be mandatory to advise the attendees to have an environment prepared just to apply TDD to their legacy code. It was impossible in our case.
  • Exercise rating: Good
  • Exercise improvements: It would be nice to have the exercises for being reviewed after the training. The exercises must have a good intructions, because sometimes we were a bit lost.
  • Instructor comments: We should not have lost so much time trying to compile and test our code.
  • Better prepared: A little
  • Start tomorrow: No. I do not know yet how can I deal with the amount of depencencies of a real project.
  • Challenges to applying: Be able to isolate each module to be able to test them properly.
  • Other comments: I would have liked to learn how to compile and test a real code.
  • Legacy code workshop: Yes
  • Recommend to others: Only if improved
  • Quote permission: Yes
