Course rating:
Excellent
Most useful learnings:
The whole concept of driving code from the tests is really interesting. The most useful thing I learning was the actual mechanics of building a feature from the ground up with unit tests.
Concepts v exercises:
Good balance
Presentation v discussion:
Good balance
Course improvements:
Exercise rating:
Excellent
Exercise improvements:
It might be interesting if all the exercises were part of a larger system in the end. Although I didn't have a problem with the individual exercises, just a thought.
Instructor comments:
You were very clear in the explanations. Very open to discussion.
Better prepared:
Much better
Start tomorrow:
My current tasks are about verifying hardware works with existing software, i.e. powering up, processing data etc, not much actual dev. I have a feature in mind I can use these concepts with though and will start soon.
Challenges to applying:
Hard to get buy-in from my team/boss for adding tests for new features that are "simple" and "should just work"
Other comments:
The audio and video were clear. Maybe a wacom tablet or something to make drawing diagrams live a little easier to read.
Legacy code workshop:
No
Recommend to others:
