  • Date entered: 2018-11-08 23:23:19 UTC
  • Course rating: Excellent
  • Most useful learnings: I learned how much of an impediment my own test zealotry is to the team. I kept catching myself speaking too soon, being unhelpfully opinionated, and generally talking too much instead of listening and asking questions, as James is so good at doing.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: It would be nice to have fleshed out more design and refactoring in practice.
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements:
  • Instructor comments:
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: Yes,
  • Challenges to applying: 1. Getting past my own dysfunctional "leadership" and letting us discover, learn, and improve together as a team. 2. Making pragmatic improvements to tooling to help reduce friction in the TDD workflow.
