Maybe focus on TDD (and related concepts) as opposed to Agile/Scrum related material. I know both are related, but TDD is the focus.

They are fine for initially understanding TDD. Maybe have an example of working through adding a test harness to Legacy C code.

Current mindset of some "old time" programmers. As they say: "Change is hard"... ;-)
Other comments:
This training was on 3 days, but I wonder if the same material spread over 4 with more Legacy C examples would give me a better chance of success in the short term.
