Course rating:
Very Good
Most useful learnings:
The method of implementing TDD, especially using spies and mocks.
Concepts v exercises:
Good balance
Presentation v discussion:
Good balance
Course improvements:
I would like more detail on using mocks/Mocks.
Exercise rating:
Very Good
Exercise improvements:
On the exercise with the spy (light controller), a little more detail on the structure would have helped (probably a restatement after we had been in the exercise for 20 mins).
Instructor comments:
Very good.
Better prepared:
Bring it on!
Start tomorrow:
Yes, but there will be some legacy tasks to get the code base completely testable. (I am currently working on known bugs for legacy code....._ butI know what to do about it!)
Challenges to applying:
Learning more about Mocks and spies. Getting existing code (some in development, some legacy) to a testable place.
Other comments:
Remote delivery worked very well. Having a group remote, not just an individual remote, was also a big plus for us.
Legacy code workshop:
No
Recommend to others:
