• Course: TDD for Embedded C++
  • Date entered: 2018-03-09 20:18:50 UTC
  • Course rating: Very Good
  • Most useful learnings: Practized with TDD and learned mocking framework.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: More exercises.
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements: The flash driver example was a good problem that embedded engineers could come up with. The other two were more general problems. I think an exercise touching on a multi-threaded problem would be helpful.
  • Instructor comments: He was very responsive. He was very clear and informative. Only thing I can criticize is his setup at camera. Outside noises and phone calls he received were distracting.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: I can't start right away on my own. It should be part of the software development cycle in the company or at least in a project.
  • Challenges to applying: Lack of agreement teamwise and time considerations.
  • Other comments:
  • Legacy code workshop: No
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: Yes
