Something else: I am a systems and software engineer, with the focus on systems. I have done some software development in my previous job, but not a significant amount. I am new to my current company and have not been actively involved in development. The goal is to become more involved with development in the future. Because of this, I may not have all of the answers below.

Favorite thing about dev: With an EE background, I enjoy the flexibility in design that software can provide vs hardware. I enjoy the challenge it brings.

Least favorite thing about dev: It can be hard to follow another's code, particularly if they do not write organized SW.
