Hi James - Got your voicemail Friday, ended up being a very busy weekend though. I hope this week's class is off to a good start.

I may have an opportunity for some outside funding for training to improve software quality and reliability. AppliedLogix is a design services firm that works with OEMs from start-ups to Fortune-50s, developing both HW and SW. We hire only highly-experienced developers with at least 10-15 years doing hands-on design, so we have a very senior, very talented team.

This is good and bad - it means we get people who are very good at what they do, but sometimes means they're stuck in their ways, too. I've had a difficult time pushing TDD uphill inside the organization, despite a constant focus on improving defect injection rates, integration effort and thus both functionality and profitability.

I'd like to get a quote from you to come in for a 2- or 3-day training workshop focused on taking us from "good to great" (to borrow the book title). The workshop would be for our team of 7 SW/FW engineers, and we might invite select embedded SW developers from our clients. Importantly, we'd want to learn both the methodology and workflow of embedded TDD, but also work with practical tools that will integrate into our environments. (I've worked with Ceedling/unity to-date, but am open to other options.)
