Dear Mr. Grenning,

Siemens is organizing an embedded software conference to be held on 9/18/2018 in Pilsen, Czech Republic (located 1 hour from Prague; 2 hours from Nürnberg by car).

The conference aims to cover key topics and interesting information to a wider sense of embedded software developers, regardless of their area of specialization. We expect 100-150 embedded software developers to attend the event, most of which are experienced professionals from Siemens and other related companies around the Pilsen and Prague region.

Upon organization, we decided to conduct a survey between our colleagues asking people from the field which topics they would like to see at the conference. From this survey, we decided to include discussion on native hypervisors in embedded systems and RTOSs amongst the key topics. However, from our survey, we also received several mentions of your name and references to your book "Test-Driven Development for Embedded C", hence the reason for this email.

Therefore, we would like to invite you to our Siemens embedded software conference to give a similar talk to our audience. Is our proposal something you would consider?

We envisage the talk could be between 45-90 minutes on a topic of your preference within the scope of embedded software. We also offer to fully cover your expenses for participation in this event.
