• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2017-05-10 09:23:38 UTC
  • Course rating: Excellent
  • Most useful learnings: Process of TDD, remind myself why we need tests.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: If there is more time perhaps include legacy code into workshops
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements: Maybe add some code which is not a straight forward class / unit. For embedded programmers it might be interesting to deal with even more hardware specific C. But for starting out TDD they are very good.
  • Instructor comments: James offers a very good insight into the TDD and his practical experience definitely helps him to expect and explain what problems may arise.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: I think i can because we are starting with the new project.
  • Challenges to applying: Initial environment setup and consistently applying these concepts.
  • Other comments:
  • Legacy code workshop: No
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: Yes
