• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2016-10-06 07:07:24 UTC
  • Course rating: Good
  • Most useful learnings: To change the code in really tiny steps and never add more functionality than required. I've worked with unit testing before but not with the TDD mentality.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Too much discussion
  • Course improvements:
  • Exercise rating: Good
  • Exercise improvements: Sometimes the exercises were a little too long and we ended up focusing more on code details than the test concept that had been demonstrated.
  • Instructor comments:
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: Yes, we already have some unit tests and I'd like to start by refactoring them according to what I've learned in the course
  • Challenges to applying: Slow building times makes testing really inefficient
  • Other comments:
  • Legacy code workshop: No
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: No
