• Course: TDD for Embedded C++
  • Date entered: 2016-04-04 14:25:59 UTC
  • Course rating: Excellent
  • Most useful learnings:
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: Maybe make the first 3-4 chapters of the book available to course attendees prior to the class. We were given the book, and that's how far I made it in before the workshop. Seeing some of the material beforehand helped with not feeling overwhelmed on the first day nor getting bogged down by the details of the harness.
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements: The home automation exercises weren't too difficult, especially in pairs, but they did seem to be a bit long. Also, a group review of the results could be useful, just to see how the different attendees approach the exercise, but that might be outside the scope of the class.
