• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2021-08-12 15:40:05 UTC
  • Course rating: Very Good
  • Most useful learnings: - The iterative working cycle (write a test, watch it not to build, ...) - The systematic approach to get legacy software on board
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: - Infrastructure stability could be improved - there is some duplication in the videos; avoiding them may allow to spent more time in the homework to continue the exercises or on the bonus material - in the videos with the live recordings of other training sessions the voice of the trainer sometimes is not to understand (e.g. if standing at the whiteboard) and the voices of the trainees are not to understand in most cases
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements: They are totally OK for me
  • Instructor comments:
  • Better prepared: Moderately
  • Start tomorrow: Yes
  • Challenges to applying: to get the time by the project managers (line manager is already supporting ;-)
  • Other comments: I really appreciate that training even though I already did know something regarding TDD. I liked you talking about the why, the methodology. And I also liked to see some new tools I did not know yet. Thanks!
  • Legacy code workshop: Yes
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: Yes
