• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2021-02-25 19:10:18 UTC
  • Course rating: Excellent
  • Most useful learnings: I learned how to better think about breaking problems down into small, easily testable, steps. The demonstration on Day 2 was very valuable to me in learning how to fake/spy different portions of the system. These are practices I have little experience with.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements:
  • Exercise rating: Excellent
  • Exercise improvements: Perhaps more nudges. I became stuck a few times in the in-class exercises trying to understand 'next-steps' in the program, which led me to occasionally implement more steps than I should have, or not really understanding what needed to happen next.
  • Instructor comments: Very helpful, and very attentive to the needs of the class.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: Absolutely! Just need some more practice in application.
  • Challenges to applying: Currently none. My employers are 110% behind TTD.
  • Other comments: Remote delivery went very well. Good class size. No real technical difficulties on either end.
  • Legacy code workshop: No
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: Yes
