• Course: TDD for Embedded C++
  • Date entered: 2019-06-03 12:30:26 UTC
  • Course rating: Very Good
  • Most useful learnings: The highly incremental approach was interesting to see. Also the constant refactoring of both test and code. I think I can be influenced by this, in order to reduce the "overthinking of design" before starting the coding.
  • Concepts v exercises: Not enough exercises
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: I think an extra day might be good, in order to have more time for the second example. But for a 2 day course, I think the current balance between concept and excercise is fine.
  • Exercise rating: Excellent
  • Exercise improvements: -
  • Instructor comments: Really knowledgeable and a good communicator and teacher.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: In the smaller context of SW Component development, yes. But in the larger context of multi ECU function development and the integration of new features directly into production code I think we have some organization hurdles to overcome.
  • Challenges to applying: See above.
