  • Course rating: Excellent
  • Most useful learnings: The BIG lesson was the need to actually practice these methods to become good at them.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: There's always the need for more examples, but that takes more time which people might not be willing to commit.
  • Exercise rating: Excellent
  • Exercise improvements:
  • Instructor comments: Excellent presentation of complex material.
  • Better prepared: Bring it on!
  • Start tomorrow: Already started after reading the book.
  • Challenges to applying: In general, I think enough people are open to it in my workplace that I can start leading by example until other people want to join in.
  • Other comments: Remote delivery worked well. I was able to do the first day using my cellphone as a hotspot. Then I did the other two days at my desk at work with headphones (so couldn't respond verbally). Side-conversations in the chat window are a little ineffective because they can turn into distractions, plus the feedback isn't as quick as voice. I like the cyber-dojo, I'll use that.
