• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2018-03-28 16:57:30 UTC
  • Course rating: Good
  • Most useful learnings: Practical usage of test harness and opening my mind to mocking and simulating things
  • Concepts v exercises: Not enough exercises
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: Special version of the course for people who have read the book with more practice parts and less book parts.
  • Exercise rating: Excellent
  • Exercise improvements: Private speech chat to people in need of help. (different program?)
  • Instructor comments: Magically hovering above you to offer help when doing the exercises but in the lecture parts it seemed he wanted to convince us a bit too much.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: I already got ideas what to improve on the existing tests. To really start with TDD I would rather wait on a new piece of code as I am currently only maintaining small areas.
  • Challenges to applying: Mostly legacy code and people to convince not to shit on the tests.
  • Other comments: Increased importance to already mentioned private speech to people in need!!!1oneleven
  • Legacy code workshop: No
  • Recommend to others: Only if improved
  • Quote permission: Yes
