• Course: TDD for Embedded C++
  • Date entered: 2018-03-15 19:13:00 UTC
  • Course rating: Very Good
  • Most useful learnings: ZOMBIE as it is applicable to other forms of testing as well.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: Not the course; the course appears to be good for those who it is applicable for. it would appear that it was not communicated well to our people who this would be appropriate for (for example, although I enjoyed the concepts, I found the exercises somewhat frustrating as I have not touched C/C++ in 10 years).
  • Exercise rating: Very Good
  • Exercise improvements: Multilingual?
  • Instructor comments: Excellent.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: The next time I have to write code yes. Unfortunately, much of my work revolves around needing to write manual acceptance/integration testing. I hope I can apply some of the principles from this to my next automated acceptance/integration testing.
  • Challenges to applying: see last question.
  • Other comments: no
  • Legacy code workshop: No
  • Recommend to others: Yes
