• Course: TDD for Embedded C
  • Date entered: 2018-01-23 09:27:13 UTC
  • Course rating: Excellent
  • Most useful learnings: TDD practice and ZOMBIE principle.
  • Concepts v exercises: Good balance
  • Presentation v discussion: Good balance
  • Course improvements: I would like to learn more about spy, stub function and legacy code. We covered those topic in the class but I don't feel confident enough to work with the legacy code we have.
  • Exercise rating: Excellent
  • Exercise improvements: I think the exercises are great. I do feel some of the exercises are not clear enough. For example, in the exercise to set light schedule to turn on or off at the right time, the "time" could be changed to "minute" so that people don't get confused and add day into the testing.
  • Instructor comments: Thanks for the excellent class. I learned a lot about TDD.
  • Better prepared: Much better
  • Start tomorrow: Probably.
  • Challenges to applying: legacy code, infrastructure, build system, dependencies, tight schedule etc.
  • Other comments: NA
  • Legacy code workshop: Yes
  • Recommend to others: Yes
  • Quote permission: Yes
